About Us

The St Vincent’s Past Pupils’ Association (SVPPA) is an organization which connects past students of St Vincent’s School in Liverpool, England. The school was founded in 1850 by the Sisters of Charity and was known for providing education to visually impaired students. It now offers specialist education to children who are visually impaired and who may also have additional special needs.

SVPPA was established to maintain connections between the school’s alumni and to promote a sense of community among its members. It provides opportunities for former students to connect with each other, share experiences, and reminisce about their time at St Vincent’s.

The association organizes various events throughout the year, such as meetups, and social gatherings. The main event of the year is a reunion at the school which is an all-day event, including a social activity in the evening. These events are an excellent opportunity for past students to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and network.

The association also provides a regular newsletter and podcast and has a very active Facebook group.

Through its various activities and initiatives, SVPPA strives to promote the values and spirit of St Vincent’s School. It aims to support the current students of the School by raising funds for school projects.

Overall, SVPPA is a vibrant and active community of past students who share a special bond, and it continues to grow as more people join its ranks.
